Animal Caretaker

Either working alone or as part of a team, depending on the position, the animal caretaker will be responsible for implementing and managing the care programme for a variety of animals through their life. If the role requires it, you will work seamlessly within a team and administrative staff to ensure your employer’s animals are happy, healthy and well-trained. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for animal welfare and be highly experienced in humane and progressive animal management techniques.

Salary range

EUR 1500 to EUR 2800 Per Month

Qualifications, training and skills required
  • Appropriate animal care qualifications
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with checkable references
  • Friendly and approachable while maintaining a certain level of decorum
  • Professional but flexible approach
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to ensure the health and wellbeing of a range of household animals
  • Valid passport/Work Permits/Visa
Extra desired training

  • A love of animals and their continued health and ongoing welfare
  • Multi-lingual
