Executive/ Head Chef

The Executive/Head Chef will be responsible for provisioning all food items in the household. The Chef will be responsible for meal planning, food preparation, knowledge of food safety and storage. Preparing meals for the family when in residence; guests, staff and dinner parties. With a strong understanding of nutrition and dietary needs, the Head Chef will also be able to work within a budget. As Head Chef you will also possess management and leadership qualities, the ability to work as a team as well as natural creative flare and fantastic presentation skills. You must be flexible and prepared to work some evenings during different seasons.

Salary range

EUR 4500 to EUR 10000 Per Month

Qualifications, training and skills required
  • Restaurant or private household background as a Chef
  • Food safety and Hygiene certification
  • Professional Chef Qualification
  • Working to budgets
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and provisioning
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Menu planning
  • Wine knowledge
  • Be highly organized and ability to work to tight time constraints
  • Accounting and computer skills
  • Knowledge of the latest dieting trends

  • Additional chef qualifications in pastry, chocolate, sugar craft
