Fitness instructor (PT)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: No qualification pre-requisites for the entry-level course.

AGE: Students must be aged 16+.

DURATION: 2 weeks (full time) or 6- 8 weeks (part time).

There are a variety of fitness instructor (PT) courses available, from entry level, Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 PT, Level 3 Exercise Referral, the more specific Level 4 Exercise for Managing Lower Back Pain Certificate, Level 4 Obesity & Diabetes Control Course or PT Diploma to name a few. 

These industry-leading, internationally recognised courses have been developed to meet the needs of a rapidly changing industry, endorsed by REPS, CIMSPA and PD Approval. Providing all the essential industry-standard knowledge and skills so you can work expertly and confidently within a fitness environment, including the ability to plan, instruct and evaluate one-on-one gym programmes, fully preparing you to jump-start a career as a gym instructor.

The British School of Etiquette

  • DURATION: 3 hours (varies according to the course you select).

In response to the current Government advice on preventing the spread of COVID-19, the British School of Etiquette has suspended all face-to-face training until further notice. Protecting the health of clients, tutors and staff a number one priority. They do however remain open and available for online tutorials via Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp. Please contact them direct for further information.

When excellent manners and comportment are second nature you can focus on building connections that will help your personal and business relationships flourish.

The majority of courses are accredited by CPD and ILM, the UK’s leading provider of leadership, coaching and management qualifications and training, part of the City& Guilds Group. (City & Guilds is the biggest name in vocational education, with over two million learners embarking on a qualification every year).

WSET Award in Wines Level 1 or Spirits Level 1

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: No qualification pre-requisites for the entry-level course.

AGE: Students must be aged 18+.

DURATION: 6 hours min. study time online (or in classroom) per course.

ASSESSMENT: Closed-book exam of 30 multiple-choice questions for Wine Level or 50 questions for Spirit L.1.

Explore the main types and styles of wine (or spirits) through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, make food and wine pairings and understanding how cocktail recipes work.
